Sahanlahti burgers for 4

With the Sahanlahti Burger, everything is made from scratch. A little effort is rewarded handsomely, because this is real flavour in a great way.

Bun

150 g of egg
75 g milk
8 g dry yeast
50 g sugar
350 g wheat flour
10 g of salt
100 g of butter

Mix egg, milk, yeast and sugar until all dissolved
Add flour and salt
Knead in an electric mixer at low speed
When the flour is mixed with the liquid, add the cubed butter in small batches
Knead at medium-high speed until the dough comes away from the sides of the bowl and is elastic
Knead for about 20min until the dough comes away from the edges
Lift the dough into a greased dish, cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours to make it easier to handle
Shape the cold dough into 100 g buns
Flatten the buns and leave to rise, covered, at room temperature for about 2 hours
Brush with egg and milk mixture
Bake in a 175°C oven for 13min

100% minced steak

600 - 800 g Hyvätuuli Highland -organic minced meat
Salt
Pepper

Shape 150-200 gram steaks
Season with salt and pepper from the mill
Grill to the desired ripeness

Pickled red onion

1 red onion
0,5 dl of wine vinegar
1 dl sugar
1,5 dl water

Boil vinegar, sugar and water
Peel and cut the onion into thin slices
Season the onions with vinegar broth and leave to infuse for at least 2 hours

Garlic mayo

2 dl Nakumajo mayonnaise
1 clove of garlic
Salt
Pepper

Grate the garlic into the mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper and mix
