Located in the old town of Savonlinna, next to Olavinlinna Castle, Cafe-Restaurant & Hotel Saima offers delicious local food and tasty pastries from its own bakery. Saima is built on the love of its owners, Johanna & David, for high quality service and the old idyllic setting. At Saima, we prefer local and domestic ingredients.
The mouth-watering cakes and pastries in our counter are handmade in our family bakery HerkkuPekka. You can also enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea, with scones baked by our chef, David using his mother's recipe. Our menu includes both Saimaa vendace and the popular Saimaa burgers, in which we use grain buns straight from our bakery, D.O Saimaa NakuMajo paprika mayonnaise and homemade salsa topped with D.O Saimaa spices.
